Andreas Bittman (10 Jul 1701 - 26 May 1763) married 22 Feb 1724 Anna Gertraut Schworm 10 Oct 1700 - 17 Nov 1758) daughter of Johann Valentin Schworm and his wife Anna Catherina of Niedermoshel, Alsenz, west of Framersheim Andreas was a Lutheran and a mason. Their children:

Johann Philipp Bittman (Philip Pitman) was born in Framersheim 16 Nov 1741 and left for America after the death of his father, arriving in Philadelphia on the Prince of Wales 5 Nov 1764. He apparently immediately joined his brothers near Strasburg, Virginia, entering land in 1771. He married in 1770 Susanna Crabill (c.1745 - 1 Feb 1821), daughter of Christian Crabill. They lived at the headwaters of Mulberry Run. Philip died 1 May 1820, and was buried on his homestead. Children:
