John Hudnall (c.1608-24 Aug 1658) was born in Little Gadsden, England.  Another report says that he was born 28 Apr 1616.  He married Mary Webb (1625-c. 1684) daughter of John Webb and Mary Carryl.  They moved from England to Isle of Wight Co, Va; and then before 1655 to Northumberland County, Va,   Mary married in May 1660 Edward Sanders (b.10 Aug 1625), and after 1672 William Thomas (d.1678).
On 20 Nov 1662, Edward Sanders gave cows to his step children, Henry, Mary, and Elizabeth, who were underage (Northumberland County Record Book 1658-1662, p.83) and on 29 Dec 1671, he assigned his interest in an indentured servant "unto my Sonne in Law Benjamin Cottman" (Somerset County Maryland Judicial Records 1671-1675, p.98)  On 17 Sep 1684 Edward White and Benjamin Cotman sued Ebenezer and Edward Sanders, administrators of the estate of Mary Thomas, who was administrator of William Thomas, for their wives' share of her estate.
The wording of the record does not specify which daughter married which man, but Benjamin's wife was Mary in 1674 when his son Benjamin was baptized.  So it would appear that he married Mary Hudnall and Edward White married Elizabeth Hudnall.  Research is needed on Edward White.  See Cottman
