COUILLANDEAU

Pierre Couillandeau, Sr. married Marie Fougeraut, and lived in La Tremblade, Poitou, Saintonge, France. After Pierre died, Marie accompanied her son to Carolina in 1686. She was married four times, the last to Moyse Brigaud. She died some time after she sold a town lot in Charleston on 17 Mar 1691/2

Pierre Couillandeau, Jr. married Suzanne and moved to South Carolina about 1686. He and his son-in-law Isaac DuBose founded Jamestown on the Santee, South Carolina, in 1705.

Suzanne Couillandeau (c.1668-c.1742) m.1688 Isaac DuBose (c1665-c1718?) and settled at Jamestown on the Santee, South Carolina. After Isaac's death, Suzanne married, about 1733, Bentley Cooke. They had about 10 children, see DuBose .
