John Liptrap (1872-1935)
John Liptrap (11 May 1872-7 May 1935) was the son of George and Angeline (Hickman) Liptrap of Warren County, Indiana. He married on 16 Feb 1896 Della Ferguson (23 Nov 1876-8 Oct 1900), daughter of Charles and Mary (Coley) Ferguson of Warren County. Their daughter Iva Beatrice Liptrap was born 3 Apr 1897. Della died of appendicitis.

Bertha was the daughter of Ephraim and Martha (Highfill) Stonecypher of Harrison County, Indiana. See the pictures of the

Bertha's sister Nellie married Ira Earl Smith, and had two children, Clarice and Cleo.

When Nellie died, Ira married Iva Liptrap. They had a son Raymond Earl Smith.
Ira died, and Iva married Floyd Ernest Jones. They had a son Arnold Eugene Jones.
John then married on 4 Dec 1904 Bertha Helen Stonecypher (20 Feb 1876-20 May 1950) of Corydon, Indiana. They lived in Warren County just south of the Benton County Line directly south of Boswell. They had three sons:
