15. Pierre DeVeauxelle D'Évecquemont, later known as Peter D'Evecmon (1758-15 Nov 1803) was born in Poitou, France, although his name may refer to the city of Évecquemont, 40 km west of Paris. He was related to Louis XVI, and fled France after killing his own cousin in a duel over a woman. He served in the American Revolution, supposedly under the Marquis de Lafayette. He married 22 Sep 1786 Hannah Sinnex (7 Apr 1770-1852), at Old Swedes Church, Wilmington, Delaware. She was the daughter of John Sinnex and Anna Robinson of Wilmington, Delaware, from an old Swedish family that settled there about 1635. They moved to Little Yough Glades, Allegheny County; now Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland. He was granted two tracts of land in Allegheny County in 1797. He died in Clarksburg (West) Virginia.	see Ancestry

Ingaba DeVecmon (1790 - 16 Oct 1814) married 19 June 1806 in Little Yough Glades, Maryland, Thomas Tate (19 May 1775 - 23 July 1838) son of Joseph and Elizabeth Pattison Tate. Thomas and Ingaba settled first in Clarksburg, Harrison County, (West) Virginia, and had three children. In July of 1813, They left Virginia and floated down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers to New Orleans, Louisiana, where two of Thomas' brothers had established a business. Ingaba died of yellow fever 16 Oct 1814. Thomas then married 14 Feb 1821 Margaret Edwards, widow Lorreins (1788-1864) daughter of Morgan and Margaret Smith Edwards. They lived in St Tammany Parish, Louisiana, on land that is now at the corner of St Tammany, Washington, and Amite Parishes. For details of their children see the Tate Family. 31.
